Representing a Canadian natural gas company in a high-stakes dispute with a publicly listed Chinese state-owned petroleum construction firm over a liquefied natural gas (LNG) facility project, with a contested amount of approximately RMB 4.8 billion.
Representing a Chinese listed company in a USD 6 million litigation concerning international trade disputes before the High Court of Tanzania and the Court of Appeal of Tanzania, and applying for recognition and enforcement of a CIETAC arbitral award in Tanzania.
Providing full service to an SOE in a USD 10 million international trade dispute with a Lebanon buyer and a UK guarantee company.
Representing an overseas syndicate in a USD 160 million litigation against a well-known Chinese real estate listed company for default on overseas US dollar-denominated debts.
Assisting a Chinese listed pharmaceutical company in a high-impact trade secret infringement litigation brought by an international pharmaceutical company before the United State District Court for the District of Connecticut.
Representing two UAE companies in a series of litigation cases against a HK company (in provisional liquidation) and several Chinese companies arising from sales contract disputes, and also representing one of them before Guangdong High Court for property preservation liability disputes against the HK company and its guarantee company. One of the above series cases was chosen as one of the 10 typical foreign-related civil and commercial cases during 2008-2018 published by Guangzhou Courts.
Representing a BVI company in a RMB 150 million share transfer dispute involving a HK company before the Foshan Intermediate Court, Guangdong High Court and the Supreme Court of the PRC, and the client's requests were fully supported by the courts.
Representing a Spanish company in a CIETAC arbitration for international trade disputes.
Representing an insurance company in an over RMB 30 million CIETAC arbitration for trade credit insurance disputes, which was the first trade credit insurance dispute case that the insurance company has ever won the case in full.
Providing full legal services to a wholly-owned subsidiary of a domestic listed company in setting up a joint venture company in India, with an investment amount of approximately USD 20 million.
Providing full legal services to the transferor of a third-party payment license acquisition project under VIE structure, with the amount of over RMB 500 million.
Providing legal services to a well-known overseas fund company in acquiring the debt package of non-performing assets from a well-known domestic bank and asset management company, with the amount of about USD 200 million.
