Zhuoxin Law Firm (“Zhuoxin”) is one of the larger-scale comprehensive law firms in China. Since its establishment in 1999 in Guangzhou, Zhuoxin has been gradually building recognition.

EXPERIENCES
Ms. Qian has extensive experience in the field of data compliance and personal information protection, and is familiar with the PRC laws and regulations as well as the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Ms. Qian is a Certified Information Privacy Professional/Europe (CIPP/E) by the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP), and a Certified Information Security Professional- Personal Information Protection (CISP-PIP) by the China Information Technology Security Evaluation Center. Ms. Qian has provided legal advice for large state-owned enterprises such as China Unicom, including the construction of compliance systems, compliance consulting and training. 

 

Ms. Qian has extensive experience in dispute resolution. She has represented an overseas syndicate in a USD 160 million litigation against a well-known Chinese real estate listed company for default on overseas US dollar-denominated debts; assisted a Chinese listed pharmaceutical company in a high-impact trade secret infringement litigation brought by an international pharmaceutical company before the United State District Court for the District of Connecticut; and assisted Canadian lawyers in completion of evidence discovery in a medical negligence dispute heard by the Supreme Court of British Columbia, Canada. And she has also assisted a number of FIEs in their share transfer projects in mainland China.
